A Tuesday crash southeast of Fairland sent one man to the hospital.
According to the Shelbyville Police Dept., a semi driven by Adrian Sebastian was eastbound on County Road 300N approaching Tom Hession Drive.
There was another vehicle stopped at the intersection waiting to turn onto 300N. The third vehicle, a Harley Davidson driven by Troy Hazelbaker, was westbound on 300N approaching Tom Hession Drive.
Sebastian started making his turn and reportedly did not see any traffic coming westbound.
During the turn of the semi, Hazelbaker entered the area and a traffic collision took place between the semi and the motorcycle, Shelbyville police reported.
Further information shows that after making contact with the semi, Hazelbaker then made contact with the stopped vehicle and then came to a rest on the roadway.
Hazelbaker was transported to Methodist Hospital.
SPD reported that Sebastian was cooperative at the scene and a blood draw was completed per state law. According to SPD, there is no evidence of impairment at this time.
SPD is completing a reconstruction of the crash scene.
