Geary County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to I-70 westbound, mile marker 294, for an injury accident at 11:12 p.m. Monday. Harwinder Singh, Greenwood, Indiana, was traveling westbound in a Volvo semi truck pulling a trailer when he attempted to turn into the median to travel eastbound.
While attempting to turn into the median, the Volvo struck a Ford Fiesta driven by Steven Salgado of Concordia. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Salgado and two passengers were transported to Geary Community Hospital for evaluation.
